Constant voltage transformer is an extremely valuable commodity in today’s date for households and industrial units. Why? Because it ensures regulated power supply to all the electric and electronic appliances.
A constant voltage transformer restricts the transfer of energy to short circuit and zero voltage but approaches infinite energy and voltage as the load resistance move towards infinity (an open circuit). An ideal buy would be a voltage transformer that is at least 25% higher than the wattage rating of the product.
Also people are advised to purchase constant voltage transformer only from a recognized source. This would ensure that they get a high-quality product. It should also be seen that one purchases only branded transformers. Since a substandard purchase might save a bit of money in short run but they won’t serve the purpose in the long run.
Remember, any damage to your expensive laptop or iPod because your transformer could not maintain the constant supply of electricity flow to these appliances, would definitely be a disappointing sight. So avoid such situations at any cost.
