It offers alarm indications for signal loss, AIS, frame loss, Mframe loss, pattern loss, remote alarm, errors and low battery.

This handheld E1 BER tester, model A0300020, performs clock slip measurement, frequency and level measurements as well as out-of-service framed and unframed testing. It provides extensive error detection and indications such as transmission circuit open/short indication.The BER tester has a large memory capacity which can save/recall up to ten user-defined setups and ten sets of results. Test results can be uploaded,saved and printed for analysis via Test Manager Pro™ software. This tester works continuously for up to six hours on a single charge and can be charged with an automobile battery adapter. It boasts upgradable software and a high resolution LCD screen with smart navigation menus. This multi-functional E1 BER tester runs under Windows 98, ME, 2000, NT and XP operating systems.
