The economical power meter is an essential solution used in telecom and CATV maintenance and fiber optics test labs. The power meter saves test time and decreases potential errors by means of its ability to automatically recognize wavelength. The meter can also be used to test optical power within the wavelength range of 800 to 1600nm. Additionally, the meter is suitable for testing of QAM, MER, BER and analog TV’s all-round performance index.

 

This easy-to-use optical power meter features a high resolution display, quick response time without requiring warm-up, and a low battery warning. The meter is dust and water resistant which makes it an ideal field testing device. It also conserves energy via its auto-off function, which kicks in after ten minutes of inactivity.
