It provides 1 to 4 output wavelengths to meet specific requirements. The light source includes a 650nm red source and 1310 /1550nm wavelengths for single mode fiber or 850/1300nm wavelengths for multi-mode fibers. It other wavelengths are also available to meet specific needs.
The fiber optic light source, model A0630009, offers CW, 2Hz modulation output at 650nm and CW, 270Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz modulation output at other wavelengths. It has a typical output power of -7dBm for LD and -20dBm for LED with a high stability of ±0.05dB/15mins or ±0.1dB/8h. It is equipped with a backlit LCD screen for clear visibility of test results. Its auto-off function kicks within ten minutes inactivity which prolongs the battery life. The compact size and light weight make it easy for the engineers to use all day in field testing.
