How Did Cable Ties Come About?
Cable ties had originated during the later part of the 1950′s. These were devised and created by Thomas & Betts. This was the name of the electrical company that came up with the invention of cable ties. The names indicated in the company name were of two professional engineers who painstakingly kept inventing products to augment their existing products at the time. With the first production process, they had to mould the cable tie first. This was followed by slotting in the metal pawl just to finish one cable tie.
