Led Brightness Questions
LED array with brightness problem?
I have just finished making a 3×10 LED array, but there is a problem with the brightness. If we were to number each group of 3 from 1 to 10 then group 1 is very dim and group 10 is nice and bright. the groups are all parallel and equivilent. all LEDs are identical and each group uses an identical resistor. in case it helps figure it out, the numbers are as follows:
12V souce
3.6-3.8 v LEDs
40 mA LED forward current
22 ohm resistors
what might i have done wrong and what can i do to get them all bright?

since the picture i added the resitor for the last group also.
more description of pic: i also added the wire to go from pos on far right group to pos on second from right. pos in at right neg out at left.
more detail on pic: in this picture the brightest group is on the far left (next to where the negative line goes in).
Understanding that I’m not that clear on the details in your picture (could use a flash), but it would APPEAR that you’re not in parallel after all. It looks like all of the resistors are in series, and each block of 3 LEDs it tapped off a node where two resistors connect. That means that each successive block of 3 is being current limited by yet one more resistor.

1.Pixel :it is the smallest unit that can be controled .the full name of the pixel is “picture element”.In a 3 color led display ,the pixels is made by 3 different colors red,green ,blue .Each parts is made buy one led or some leds , in theory that the different 3 colors can display every color by adjust the led light’s brightness .
2.Pitch 
istance between the centers of adjacent pixels. The smaller of the spacing, the distance visual should be shorter .
3.Resolution :Normally use a in a digiital display equipment ,it means the total pixels and it is usually wrote to a wideth*height ,something like 800*600.
4.Viewing Angle :The maximum brightness of the led when the observer face to the led .
5.Brightness:Brightness in any display device is the most important parameters. Brightness of the main unit is called candle (candela), with a CD that a single LED brightness usually use “millicandelas”,( MCD), it is 0.1% CD.
6.Viewing Distance :For many of display devices, the best viewing distance should be the minimum distance which human eye can not distinguish .This distance is about 3400 times the distance between points. TV and computers are usually smaller than the this distance . But acceptable distance not less than 1,700 times the distance between points.
7.Color Temperature:The brightness of the red ,green ,blue must be restored balance to the true and accurate color.In other words ,the white must be white ,not pink ,if these 3 colors are in the higgest brightness ,the mixed color usually is not white ,in order to get the white (normally it’s 6500K) these 3 different colors must be get 1 or 2 color make the brightness lower ,in order to get the corecct white color ,must be repeated measurement .This procedure is called “Blance white .
