Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments(www.GAOInstruments.com) has announced the release of its synthesized signal radio frequency (RF) generator operating over a frequency range of 250kHz to 4GHz which covers all common RF wide frequency coverage, excellent spectral purity, a built-in modulation bands. This optimized signal generator is intended for use in applications such as scientific research, production and general RF testing. It features signal generator and a GPIB remote control function.
This synthesized RF signal generator, model A0200001, offers abundant modulation functions including amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation and pulse modulation. Step sweep and list sweep provide flexible digital functions which help achieve control over output frequency and power. Its output power range is from -136dBm to 7dBm. On UHF receivers, the generator is able to measure selectivity, sensitivity, inter-nodulation distortion, AM rejection, AGC response, audio hum, noise and distortion and STAND ratio. This synthesized signal generator can be used for multiple environments for various purposes because of its high power accuracy and spectral purity.
