Power Distribution System For Taipei 101, Hsuehshan Tunnel – Circuit Breaker. Magnetic Switch
ver the past six years, Taipei 101 has been dazzling people with spectacular fireworks. When the audience starts to count down, every timer to set off the fireworks is precisely controlled by a magnetic switch at each floor. A low quality magnetic contactor can trigger the timer to set off the fireworks too early or too late and result in disaster. Taiwan Hsuehshan Tunnel’s Usage of Shihlin Electric’s Magnetic Switch, Circuit Breaker Products
Hsuehshan Tunnel is the longest underground road tunnel in Asia, and it is also the 5th longest tunnel in the world, at nearly 13km (8 miles) long. Again, Shihlin Electric was chosen to set up the magnetic switch power distribution system for this long tunnel, which many factors are needed to be considered such as the humidity level, the maintain system and the long-life stability of magnetic switch.
