Electrical Components
Electricity is an essential requirement for human beings, so it is important to know the names and functions of electrical components that are around you. I would like to introduce to you some electrical components, namely:
#1. Resistor
Resistors are electronic components that have a function to provide resistance against the flow of electricity that flows into an electrical device. In the electrical circuit required resistor with certain specifications, such as major barriers, the maximum current and the characteristics of temperature and heat resistance. Resistors provide resistance for electrical components have the appropriate electrical current flow (not great). In addition, the resistor can serve as a voltage divider.
#2. Capacitor
Capacitors are used to store electrical charges. One type of capacitor is the parallel chip capacitors. This capacitor consists of parallel metal pieces separated by an insulator called a dielectric. When the capacitor is connected to a battery, capacitors charged up to the potential difference between the two terminals together with the battery voltage. If the battery is disconnected, electric charges will be exhausted in a very long time, except for a conductor is connected to the second terminal capacitor.
#3. Diode
Diodes are semiconductors that a current of one direction. Diodes are made of germanium or silicon (Diode Junction). Diodes are also used on the adapter that functions as a rectifier of an AC signal to DC.
#4. LED (Light Emitting Diode)
LED is an electrical component that can emit light. LEDs have the same structure with diodes, but later found that the electrons that hit the connection PN also release energy in the form of heat energy and light energy. LEDs are made to be more efficient if the issue of light. To obtain light emission in semiconductors, components that use are the gallium, arsenic and phosphorus. Different components will produce different colors of light. The dominant color of the LED light is red, yellow and green. #5. Relay
Relay is a switch that can be controlled from an electronic circuit. Relay consists of 3 main parts, namely:
# a. Coils: winding of relay
# b. Common: the part that is connected with the NC (in normal circumstances)

#6. TRANSISTOR
Transistor is a semiconductor that serves as an amplifier, breakers, connectors (switching), voltage stabilization, signal modulation and other functions.
