Holland, MI Chrysler dealer wants to set customers straight about 2011 Compass
Jeep has been a hot item in the past decade and, most recently the revamped Jeep Wrangler and the 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee have made the auto industry and the buying public take notice. That’s why your Holland, MI Chrysler dealer is excited about the new 2011 Jeep Compass.
The Compass is very similar in appearance to the Grand Cherokee, but has an updated fascia, hood and fenders as well as redesigned headlights and grille. The rear of the Compass features a body-colored spoiler and LED taillights on the Limited model. Buyers also will love the chrome accents and aluminum wheels that grace the exterior of the Compass.
Considered a small-size SUV, the Compass has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine standard featuring a continuously variable transmission. With the five-speed transmission the mileage numbers are 23 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. That’s up some from last year’s Compass EPA ratings of 23 and 26 mpg. Holland used Jeep customers will appreciate any fuel savings with current gas prices continuing to rise.
Coming in three trims, the 2011 model will feature the Compass, Latitude and Limited editions. The off-road features have been bulked up for this new model year and Chrysler is proud to offer a Trail Rated off-road package for the Compass.
The off-road features are essential, because even with a smaller Jeep model, buyers are still looking for some of that Jeep tradition of being able to go anywhere and look good doing it. Chrysler Holland, MI Jeep customers will be satisfied with the offerings on the new Compass.
Chrysler doesn’t skimp on the safety features in the Jeep either, including stability control, hill assist, electronic roll mitigation and side air bags for all seats. The technology isn’t lacking either. The Compass has satellite radio, navigation, iPod interface, a power sunroof, keyless entry, heated power exterior mirrors and illuminated cup holders.
So glad they remembered the cup holders. It’s amazing to me that today’s vehicles seem to have either 26 cup holder or none. Can’t we just squeeze in one per potential passenger and move on? I’m not asking for the moon here – just a convenient cup holder for whatever seat I happen to occupy.
The Compass is in showrooms now with options like 17-inch all-terrain tires, all-season floor mats, an engine block heater, tow hooks and daytime running lights. Holland used Jeep customers will enjoy a smooth ride and less noise than the previous Compass model.
With typical Jeep reliability and the assurance that going off-road will be an adventure won’t leave you stuck, the Jeep Compass is a great choice for those who want a more family-oriented ride without spending a fortune.
