A good squeeze page will prompt a prospect to take action immediately. Unlike direct selling, you can only use words; emotions and the design of your squeeze page to optimize your conversion rate.
Squeeze page is basically a website that gains you valuable subscribers. To do so, you can either connect emotionally with the visitors or offer a free product. In the end, the visitors are provided with a few calls of actions such as buying your products, or subscribing to your list.
What makes a good squeeze page?
- Headline – A powerful squeeze page must have a catchy headline that grabs the readers’ attention. In online surfing, you have only split seconds to entice your readers to keep reading.
- Body of squeeze page – Once you have successfully attracted your visitors, you must ensure that they read it to the end. Provide quality content so that they can learn something from you. Be sincere with what you say, your readers can feel it.
- Call of action – it is essential have a minimum number of call to action. Otherwise, your readers might end up not responding. A squeeze page limits the variety of options your visitor can do.
Searching for squeeze page templates
Squeeze page templates is a good alternative for marketers who do not have knowledge in HTML. You can search for both free and paid templates. Here are some websites where you can find great templates:
- Cnet – Cnet also offers squeeze page generation software. You can narrow down your search to find only free templates.
- Strategic profit – This site provides winning list building squeeze page.
- Justdreamweaver – This site provides a free squeeze page with instructions on how to alter and modify the template. There is a link to Justdreamweaver at the bottom of the squeeze page, which is not supposed to be removed or changed.
Enhancing your conversion rate
- Offer a free product like an E Book or report in exchange for their information. Appeal to their greed, everyone loves free stuff.
- Keep the information you need down to a minimal. Asking for more information may turn the visitors away, as it appears you are intruding on their privacy.
- Use emotion driven words such as “Use it today and make money tomorrow” and use bold or italics to make the same words outstanding to the readers.
